Survey Boats
As part of major infrastructure
projects or property developments that are waterside there is often
a need to survey inland waterways and structures such as canal
walls, bridges, foundations etc. |
| |
|
 |
We have a range of small motor boats that are
ideally suited to survey work due to their small size,
manoeuvrability and flexibility to support a range of
different survey operations. Our small motor workboats can
accommodate dive teams and their equipment and are also
stable enough to support a 3m high access tower for
engineers and surveyors to inspect the underside of bridges
and walls. |
|
We operate a number of workflats which are
11m long & 2.13m wide. Some have small cabins to provide
welfare facilities & storage. These craft are useful for
dive teams as they are stable, spacious and low in the side
providing easy access in and out of the water. They are
stable enough to support access towers and are convenient
for survey work on canal walls, bridges etc. They can be
fitted with handrails all round to comply with health and
safety requirements. |
 |
|
 |
We also have a range of tidal river and
coastal motor workboats and dinghies available for working
on tidal rivers and around the coast. The small motor
workboats are approx 7- 8m long and 3m wide and about 1m
deep. A forward wheelhouse provides a large open deck space
aft with handrails. The open aft deck is convenient for dive
teams and their equipment as well as providing a good
working platform for surveyors to work from. |
