Dredging the Olympic Waterways, 24th October 2011

At the beginning of September Land & Water, working on behalf of the Olympic Delivery Authority and British Waterways, started dredging work on the waterways in the Olympic Park area.

As part of this dredging work WHH Ltd have two Bantam Pusher tugs, “Scouser” & “Springwell”, on hire to Land & Water to moving the hopper barges to and from the dredger and the unloading sites.

Dredging is taking place in two areas, the Bow Backs including City Mill River and the Waterworks River which runs through the middle of the Olympic Park.
